Hiya! I’m H.R. Burkett, and I write stories about messy people, complicated relationships, found family, and all the wonderfully imperfect moments that make us human.

My books don’t fit neatly into one little box—and I’m perfectly okay with that. Sometimes they’re funny. Sometimes they’ll break your heart. Usually, they’ll do a little bit of both.

What they do have in common are characters who feel real, relationships worth rooting for, and stories I hope stick with you long after you’ve turned the last page.
